A GROUP OF ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN BRONZE PINS AND FIBULAE
CIRCA 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Of various forms, several with ribbed body and conical heads; one with incised alternate bi-conical and disc mouldings, with incised zigzag lines and bands around the top of the shaft; another incised, with duck terminal, 15 cm. long max.; and four ancient Near Eastern bronze fibulae, with grooved bead-shaped mouldings, the catches in the form of a human hand, circa 8th-4th Century B.C., 9 cm. long max. Acquired in the 1960s or early 1970s.
