TWO GERMAN LANDSKNECHT SWORDS IN EARLY 16TH CENTURY STYLE

The first with fullered blade with rounded tip and struck with two marks on one side, iron hilt of characteristic form involving S-shaped quillons and large fluted fish-tail pommel; And the second retaining traces of etched decoration on both sides of the blade at the forte, cabled figure 8 guard, compressed pommel and moulded wooden grip between shaped collars
