The first with turn-off cannon barrel and boxlock action each of paktong, the action signed on a rococo scroll, figured walnut butt profusely inlaid with silver wire rococo scrollwork, sliding trigger-guard safety also of paktong, and silver escutcheon engraved with a Continental coat-of-arms, Continental proof marks; the second with short turn-off barrel, signed engraved action and thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, Birmingham proof marks
