A RARE SILESIAN POWDER-FLASK
LATE 17TH EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Of planot-convex section, with bulbous wooden body inlaid with a close-set scale pattern of brass wire centring on a flowerhead roundel encircled by mother-of-pearl pellets, a further band of pearl inlay about the top, the edge and the top faced with strips of brass embossed with beadwork, fitted with pivot cut-off and with a leather suspension belt studded with small domed brass nails over its entire length
The flask 13 cm.
