Engraved octagonal calibrated plate with Roman chapters, brass shaped gnomon, inscribed Wyst de uren tot Roomen/Wyst de uren tot Ierusalem/Wyst de uren tot Bengala/Wyst de uren tot canton in China/Wyst de uren tot Brussel gelen op de polus hooghte van 51 grade en 35 minuten, on an associated stained mahogany plinth base
