Two Rhenish stoneware gilt-metal and metal-mounted ewers
17th Century
Comprising one ewer with bulbous body covered in a speckled glaze, the gilt neck-mount engraved with geometrical patterns and monogram AT, with knopped finial and figural thumbpiece, the cylindrical foot-mount modelled with stylised floral patterns, chips, 25.5 cm. high; and a small ewer with metal cover, the body engraved with vertical and horizontal bands, the neck ribbed, 12.5 cm. high, restorations, chips (2)
