Russia, probably second half 19th century
Circular, one side struck with a map of the Northern Hemisphere, the reverse with Russian inscription 'IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY. FOR GOOD WORK.' within a ribbon-tied laurel wreath, in the original silk and velvet lined stamped leather case, marked with the Cyrillic initials 'P.B.'
