A Silver-Gilt and Cloisonné Enamel Sugar Bowl and Creamer
Mark of the 6th Artel, Moscow, 1908-1917
Lobed on circular feet, the bowl with swing handle, the creamer with raised spout and upswept handle, enameled throughout with panels of stylized floral and geometric motifs in neo-Russian style in shades of olive green, salmon and black beneath shaded varicolor stylized flowerheads and foliate swags on a gilt-stippled ground, the bases engraved with monogram 'LBH', marked under bases, also with scratched inventory number 3643C
The bowl 4¾ in. (12.1 cm.) high over handle; the creamer 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) high (2)
