The box of rectangular form, four sides and base with light blue, dark blue and translucent red enamel floral and geometric design decoration, hinged top lid with painted enamel scene of Solomon discussing the plans of the temple, with seed pearl and blue enamel decorative border, the musical movement with spring barrel, flat pin barrel with two rows of 27 steel tuned teeth mounted on either side of the gilt brass plate, thus creating a selection of two different tunes, the music played at will activated by a slide in the band, case marked
