With copy of Rolex Geneva invoice dated 13 June 2008 for the total overhaul of the present watch.

The present watch is a highly attractive example of a reference 5512, featuring a black lacquer dial with gilt printing and the designation "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" printed in white underneath the gilt "Submariner". It is furthermore fitted with the pointed crown guards whereas subsequently produced ref. 5512 models show the rounded shoulders. For this reason, the present model is also known as the "Cornino", meaning "small horn" Submariner.

The watch stands furthermore out by its beautifully aged dial showing a warm tint of chocolate-brown color from age, an uniform, ivory tone to the luminous material of numerals and hands, all attractively harmonizing with the gilt printing to signature and outer minute divisions.
