With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with enamel dial, dauphine hour markers and gold numerals in 1901 and its subsequent sale on 26 August 1902. The Extract further states that the watch is ornamented with a branch of mistletoe in chased work and five pearls, dome with enamel, and clover-shaped bow.

The present pendant watch is a typical and highly attractive example of the Art Nouveau style, characterized by the curvilinear depiction of leaves and flowers, foliate forms and sinuous lines.

Consigned by a private collector, it is preserved in very good original overall condition.
