These letters were Leeuwenhoek's main means of communication with the Royal Society and, since he wote no monographs nor taught students, provide the original source material for the discoveries and observations of one of history's greatest microscopists. The present work is a mixed edition, consisting of letters 28-38, 41-44, 46, 54-145. Bibliographically complex as usual; a complete collation is available on request.
