The rectangular top inset with a brown leather-lined writing surface, above a central frieze drawer cast in relief with cloudborne putti, flanked by a pair of further drawers with acanthus handles and escutcheons, the back with similar false drawers, the sides centred by a rectangular plaque cast in relief with a putto emblematic of the Arts, on square tapering legs and acanthus-capped feet terminating in castors
