DAOGUANG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
With steep sides and slightly flaring rim, painted in shades of cobalt blue with four double xi characters each surmounted by a bat and alternating with upright hibiscus blooms, all amongst stylised scrolling peach and lotus sprays, between narrow horizontal double lines around the foot and below the rim, the interior plain white
8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.) diam.
