JIAQING IRON-RED SEAL MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
Each painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a central shou character encircled by the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, below four further roundels at the cardinal points, each enclosing a character of the greeting wan shou wu jiang ('boundless longevity'), separated by lotus blossoms, the exterior painted with five iron-red bats in flight amist clouds
