The attachment plate cast in relief with finely incised detail, depicting the bearded figure of Silenos, his body covered in hair, reclining beneath a grape vine, his right arm reaching up, clutching bunch of grapes in his hand, leaning on his left elbow, his left leg folded beneath his body, his bald head with straggly strands of hair at the back, with twisting vine stalks on either side, the semi-circular handle of rectangular section, with ridged finials
