Probably from an oil lamp handle, the large eyes with raised rims, with recessed mouth agape, three columns of cork-screw curls framing the face, surmounted by a headdress embellished with recessed dots
3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) high, mounted
Provenance
Formerly in a German private collection, acquired between the 1980s-1990s; accompanied by a French passport.
