Carved with his head turned to the left, mouth agape, long flowing hair, beard and moustache, furrowed brow and pug-like nose, with muscular torso and shoulders, probably from a relief, the back re-carved as a bust in later times, on socled mount

Formerly in a French private collection, Strasbourg, 1920s.
