A WESTERN ASIATIC CORNELIAN BEAD NECKLACE
CIRCA 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Strung with barrel-shaped cornelian beads interspersed with white hardstone disc-shaped beads, with two central slender pendant cornelian beads with later gold bead terminals, restrung with modern gold fastening, 16 in. (41 xm.) long; and three Western Asiatic banded agate pendants, two with granulated gold caps, another of cylindrical form with later gold caps, 1st millennium B.C., 2¼ in. (7 cm.) long max. (4)
