AN ATTIC BLACK GLAZED SKYPHOS

With slightly rounded sides, reserved bands above foot and around rim, 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high; a large Cypriot red-on-black slip ware bowl with trough spout and loop handle, with remains of red painted linear decoration on exterior and interior, Middle Bronze Age, 1900-1725 B.C., 9½ in. (24 cm.) diam.; and a Roman pottery jug with band of rouletted decoration around the body, circa 3rd Century A.D., 8 in. (20.3 cm.) high (3)
