Side A: seated nude youth holding branch and phiale, fillets and window in the field
Side B: standing draped female holding mirror and phiale
Palmetttes under the handles, band of waves below, band of laurel under the rim, details in added white and yellow

In 1983 A. D. Trendall corresponded with Seaby saying "work by the Aphrodite Painter appear but rarely...and I shall be very interested to know where this vase finishes up, since in its own way it is a vase of some importance".
