A GROUP OF ROMAN BRONZE HANDLES AND ATTACHMENTS
CIRCA 1ST-3RD CENTURY A.D.
Including a pair of handles with ram head terminals, 2 in. (5 cm.) long max.; another fragmentary handle, the attachment plate in the form of a mask with inverted palmette below, 4 in. (10 cm.) long; an attachment in the form of a youthful mask wearing berried wreath, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high; another attachment with a bearded male mask, a spherical ribbed terminal on crown of head, 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) high; and a bronze handle, the attachment plate in the form of a satyr head, 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high (6)
