AN EGYPTIAN POTTERY AMULET MOULD WITH CARTOUCHE OF RAMESSES II
NEW KINGDOM, DYNASTY XIX, CIRCA 1279-1213 B.C.
Oval, with cartouche of the birth name of Ramesses II; another with cartouche of Merenptah; another with cartouche of Amen-Ra surmounted with two Maat feathers; and a pottery mould for an elongated bead decorated with concentric circles, all New Kingdom, circa 1550-1069 B.C.

Provenance
Reputedly found around the Bayariya Oasis, Egypt, in the 1930s.
Formerly in the collection of the German archaeologist and architect Udo Schwalm (1905-1994), formed between the 1930s and the 1970s.
