From an anthropoid sarcophagus, the face with remains of white gesso, the eyes and eyebrows with traces of black

Provenance
Reputedly found around the Bahariya Oasis, Egypt, 1938-1939.
Formerly in the collection of the German archaeologist and architect Udo Schwalm (1905-1994), formed between the 1930s and the 1970s.
