A LARGE GROUP OF ROMAN TERRACOTTA LAMPS AND AMPULLAE

Comprising a twin-nozzle lamp decorated with goddess holding cornucopia, late 1st Century B.C., 7¼ in. (18 cm.) long; another decorated with rabbit, 1st Century B.C./A.D., 2¾ (7 cm.) long; fourteen 'frog'-lamps, 2nd-4th Century A.D., 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) long max.; seven ampullae decorated with St Menas and two camels, 4 in. (10 cm.) high max.; eight Romano-Egyptian terracotta figures, including seated Harpocrates, 1st-3rd Century A.D., 3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) high max.; a Coptic wood kohl-tube with incised decoration, 7¼ in. (17.4 cm.) high; and five Coptic textile fragments, 8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) long max., all circa 3rd-6th Century A.D. (66)
