A MEISSEN CREAM-POT, COVER AND STAND
CIRCA 1725, GILDER'S 3 TO EACH, DREHER'S TO FOOTRIM
The cream-pot with a scroll handle and three paw feet, painted with three panels of figures in landscapes, within gilt cartouches with Böttger-lustre panels and puce scrolls, the cover similarly painted about a knop finial, the stand with an extensive river landscape with fortifications among hills, within a similar cartouche, the border with elaborate interlocking gilt scrollwork and flowerheads, the underside with indianische Blumen (chip to rim of cream-pot, stand with chip to footrim, minute chip to rim and minor wear)
