CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK AND GILDER'S 7.
Possibly painted by C.F. Herold, with Orientals at various pursuits by tables, shrubs and vases and beneath palm trees, each on elaborate gilt and Böttger-lustre diaper-pannelled supports edged with purple and red scrolls, the gilt-edged shoulder and cover with indianische Blumen (very slight wear to gilding on shoulder, cover extensively restored)
