CIRCA 1728, LARGE BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK WITH PAINTER'S S BETWEEN THE BLADES
Painted in underglaze blue enriched in enamels and gilding, the central flower-spray surrounded by flowers and a border of blue-ground lappets alternating with arched lappets, within a scalloped gilt line, the underside with two flowering plants and flowering prunus branches (minor slight wear)
