CIRCA 1720-25, DREHER'S .. TO BOTH, THE BAYREUTH DECORATION CIRCA 1740
Painted in the workshop of J.F. Metzsch, each with a Schwarzlot landscape within an elaborate gilt diaper and blue flowerhead cartouche, surmounted by a vase and flanked by garlands of flowers and foliage, the reverse of the teabowl with foliage scrolls and gilt strapwork supporting parrots, fruit and flowers, with gilt scroll and pendant dot and flowerhead borders (some very slight wear to gilding and flaking to enamels)
