These two cases of Lafite were purchase shortly after release from a prominent New York wine merchant and left undisturbed until opened for the first time by a Christie's specialist. The cases were removed from excellent home storage that was once suspected to be a bomb shelter and since outfitted with temperature and humidity control. The consignor and his wife are epicurians and connossieurs of the highest and kindest degree and offer the cases to buyers interested in purchasing Lafite that has not been traded or traveled once in its life.
