Pierced with crosslets, scrolls and foliage, centred by engraved coat-of-arms, each engraved with scratch-weight 55=18 and 55=7

Engraved with the full achievement of arms of George William, 6th Earl of Coventry, Lord Lieutenant and Custos Rotulorum for Worcestershire and Recorder of Coventry (1722-1809). (2)

The engraved coat-of-arms suggests that these mazarines were acquired soon after George William Coventry succeeded his father William Coventry, 5th Earl, on 18th March 1750/1.
