1756-7, BLUE INTERLACED L MARKS ENCLOSING DATE LETTER D, PAINTER'S MARK A FLEUR-DE LYS FOR TAILLANDIER, INCISED MARK
The centre painted with a flower-spray within a border of an entwined green ribbon issuing trailing flowers within a rim moulded and gilt with trailing flowers and with green panels, gilt line rim (slight footrim chip and very minor wear to gilding)
9 7/8 in. (25 cm.) diam.
Provenance
Possibly one of seventy-eight plates delivered to Lazare Duvaux between 1 January 1758 and 1 July 1758 and of six from this delivery sold to Madame de Pompadour.

The Livre Journal de Lazare Duvaux records under entry no. 3073: Mme la Marq. de Pompadour; 6 affiettes à rubans verts de porcelaine de France, à 60 l. pièce, 360 l.
