Tasting Note: Most recently: richly coloured; harmonious nose, rich fruit, almost jammy - strawberry, raspberry - great depth, faultless; lovely flavour, still with excellent tannin and acidity, typical Romanée-Conti persistence of flavour. March 2002 ***** MB
