Two 18th century mourning locket pendants
One with central lozenge-shaped glazed locket compartment within white enamel scrolls with the legend on one side Esther Kane, Died 24 Aug't, 1752, aged 29, each scroll with brilliant-cut diamond single stone intervals, the other side with the legend "Oh just be held and lost, admired and mourned; the second pendant with central pear-shaped locket compartment containg a monochrome portrait miniature, within black enamel scroll with the legend M.C. Died 7 Apr, 1779 aged 42, with foiled garnet top and terminal (2)
