Jacob Schweighauser Otto (1778-1826) was a Philadelphia merchant and later agent for the Holland Company, which promoted real estate in Western New York for its Dutch investors. (O. Turner, Pioneer History of the Holland Purchase of Western New York, 1850, p. 441)
