Signed Kansai, Edo Period (19th century)
Decorated in iroe-hiramaki-e and takamaki-e on a red nashiji ground with a shishimai dancer wearing a dragon headdress, the reverse with a drum and a flute, with attached lacquer netsuke of an actor holding a fan, similarly decorated, ivory inlays
