Meiji Period (late 19th century)
Decorated in various thicknesses of gold wire and various coloured cloisonné enamels in Namikawa Yasuyuki style with panels decorated with butterflies above flowers on a pale blue ground, the panels bordered by leaves and scrolling foliage, the neck and foot with lappets with stylised patterns
