Carved as a seated Maitreya Buddha flanked by two attendants and lion guardian figures, before a flaming mandala, raised on four supports, incised in characters to the reverse reading '15th July AD528 commissioned by Bhikshuni Rong Zhi Jing with respect, a body of Maitreya figure, realms for reality...waves', the stone of a yellowish tone
