JIAQING IRON-RED SEAL MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
Each finely modelled and enamelled in bright tones in the form of a circular openwork medallion enclosing one of the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang), one a canopy (gai), the other a conch, sitting atop a lotus pod with recessed seeds nestled in a lotus blossom raised on a stem of chevrons flanked by openwork curling leaves, all raised on a domed base with a lappet band enclosing flaming jewels
