TWO GEORGE III MAHOGANY DRESSING-MIRRORS
LATE 18TH CENTURY
One with a shield-shaped mirror on scrolled supports above a serpentine tulipwood-crossbanded base with three mahogany-lined drawers on bracket feet; and another with an oval mirror on scrolled supports above a serpentine base with three chequer-strung drawers on ogee bracket feet, later backboards, resilvered plate
The shield-shaped mirror 23 in. (59 cm.) high; 18 in. (46 cm.) wide; 8 in. (20 cm.) deep

The shield-shaped mirror bought from H.M.Lee & Sons, Ryde House, Ripley, on 4 July 1946; the oval mirror possibly one bought from Ronald A. Lee, 1 The Terrace, Richmond Hill on 2 January 1947 for £33.
