A GEORGE IV MAHOGANY INVERTED BREAKFRONT-BOOKCASE

With a central tablet and S-scroll cresting flanked by stepped pediments above a moulded cornice and four glazed and wire-grille doors enclosing mahogany edged adjustable shelves, divided by panelled uprights veneered in plum-pudding mahogany, the base with similar doors, both hinged on the left and enclosing further adjustable shelves and divided by turned uprights on a plinth base, the left end veneered in plum pudding mahogany, the inner glazed panels possibly added slightly later, the tablet, scrolls and stepped pediments added
