FIRST ENGLISH EDITION OF VOLUMES I AND III-VI, THIRD OF VOLUME II. PRESENTATION COPIES, VOLUMES I-V INSCRIBED BY CHURCHILL TO QUICKSWOOD. Best man at Churchill's wedding, Hugh Cecil or 'Linky' was a lifelong friend of Winston Churchill's. After having been recommended for a peerage by Churchill in 1941, Cecil took the title Baron Quickswood. Woods A123(b). (6)
