The World Time reference with handmade cloisonné enamel dial is one of Patek Philippe's most revered timepieces. No individual dial is the same because of the process involved; whereby finely ground crushed glass powder is mixed with metal oxide, resulting in richly hued enamel. The enamels are outlined by fine gold wire, so as to present the desired shape. It is undeniable that Patek Philippe artisans have created an original work of art on each dial whilst the unique Calibre 240 HU housed within, numbering 239 parts, is a mechanical masterpiece.
