The waisted body with ribbed neck and flaring mouth, finely painted around the body in vibrant shades of violet-blue cobalt in linear and wash painterly style with scholars variously in conversation on the banks of a river, two fishermen in a boat on the river, and pavilions nestled in the distant mountains, all within an idyllic landscape of trees and mountains, the shoulder with a crenellated band below key-fret, whorl and ruyi form bands around the neck 18 in.
