ROMAN PERIOD, CIRCA 1ST CENTURY A.D.
Her serpentine hair center parted and bound by a fillet, with two small cork screw curls in front of each ear, her eyes inlaid in glass, the lids outlined in black, the brows ridged, with a straight nose and rounded chin, her small mouth tightly pursed, the philtrum indicated, preserving red and yellow for the fillet, red for the lips, and black for the hair and brows
14 in. (35.5 cm.) high
