With Herakles battling an Amazon, the hero clad in a short chiton and his lionskin, a baldric over his shoulder, thrusting with a sword in his right hand and clutching a serpent head in his left, the Amazon moving right but looking back, wearing a corselet and high-crested helmet, protecting herself with her shield, a tripod as the device, with a similarly-armed Amazon on either side, both moving right but looking back, a nude youth on either side of the handle, each with a mantle draped over one arm and his head turned back; grape-ladened vines in the field, details in added red and white; the knobbed handle molded with a medial ridge terminating in a palmette on the interior
