Marked Fabergé, with indistinct workmaster's mark, apparently Viktor Aarne, St Petersburg, 1899-1904, scratched inventory number 5996
Of shaped rectangular form with raised central arch, the divided body enamelled in translucent pale blue over a wavy guilloché ground applied with scrolling foliage enclosing an arched bezel, the mother-of-pearl back with scroll strut, marked at foot and on strut
