Three Soviet Porcelain Figures of Peasants with Fruits and a figure of a Georgian Woman
All after models by N. Danko, by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, Leningrad, circa 1940
Each realistically modelled and painted, wearing traditional costumes, comprising a Ukrainian man carrying melons, a seated Ukrainian woman with a basket of tomatoes, a woman holding a basket of apples on an oval base inscribed in Russian 'All States Agricultural Exhibition 1939' and a Georgian woman carrying a basket of grapes, all marked under bases with green overglaze Cyrillic factory monogram 'LFZ' and factory stamp in blue, green or red, some additionally numbered '24', '8' or '48'
