CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, PRESSNUMMER 24 TO TEABOWLS AND INDISTINCT PRESSNUMMER 11 (?) TO FOOTRIM OF ONE SAUCER, GILDER'S Q TO ALL PIECES
Painted with figures in estuary scenes and travellers in wooded landscapes, the teabowls with gilt quatrefoil cartouches, the saucers with elaborate gilt shell and scroll panelled ombrierte cartouches within elaborate Gitterwerk borders (some very slight wear to gilt cartouches) (2)
