THE MINIATURE IN THE MANNER OF HENRI-JOSEPH VAN BLARENBERGHE
Circular blonde tortoiseshell box with swirling three-colour gold piqué-posé inlay and flower paillons, waterleaf stamped and reeded gold mounts, the independent lid set with a gouche on card miniature depicting a lady being put to bed by her attendants and a seated admirer, painted in the manner of François Boucher
